A Voice for the Community
Gang Grit Sports is not just a voice for fantasy football and calling in the dynasty masses; it is also a voice for our local community. To spread the same love and joy to those around us, especially those who may not be heard. Our commitment to our community extends beyond the four walls of our podcast studio.
We believe that everyone should be welcome in sports, no matter your age, skills, talents, disabilities, or limitations. There is a special camaraderie that only exists when players take the field, and that fellowship not only exists, but is welcomed with open arms in the Gang Grit Sports Universe.
From voicing competitions and games, to volunteering for set up and tear down, every initiative is flowing with grit. So long as we have a voice that speaks, so too we will be there for the players that need us most.
A Voice for the Miracle League at Roxbury Park
In a city where baseball has survived through several major catastrophes, the spirit of the game lives on. For many years, baseball has been accessible by many, and even the greats have made their way through town during the AAABA Tournament. However, a small group of individuals who wants to play has always been excluded…until now.
Forged like steel through unending resilience, several members of the community have sacrificed hundreds of volunteer hours building a new chapter of the Miracle League in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This league, where bats are scheduled to swing in spring 2027, is being erected on the hollow grounds of an empty ballpark.
For the first time ever at Roxbury Park, children with disabilities will no longer have limitations in playing America’s favorite pastime. These esteemed volunteers are doing everything in their power to both build a viable ballpark for the individuals, but also give them the same great game-day experience that all athletes feel.
To help provide that experience, we do our part by providing the voice for the Miracle League at Roxbury Park. We will be there during games, promotions, marketing, and to speak to any attendee who wants their voice heard.
