In our efforts to expand the appeal of Dynasty Fantasy Football through the #BringingDynasty2TheMasses, we’ll documenting our journey in now NINE leagues throughout the ‘26 Fantasy Football Season.
I’m commissioner in four leagues & am playing in five others, all with different points of origin to give fans of the project a full spectrum of experiences!
My leagues include Legacy, a 2025 start-up with mostly local connections, the BD2TM Concept League filled with Dynasty Vets teaching Rookies while competing against them, The Varsity is a more competitive league w all experienced Dynasty Ballers, and the Old School Redraft League with a mix of old and new friends.
Our own Mike Nadolsky is in all four, and Elliott from StartSitEmFF is in three.
Gridiron Legacy Dynasty:
A S2 league that started in ‘25. We held our Rookie Draft ‘Draftmas Eve’ style, the Saturday before the NFL Draft.
My startup was focused on the Happy Team strategy, that is to say if faced with a tough choice in that draft, I reached for players I ‘liked,’ & that plus all subsequent moves got me a team that missed the playoffs by tie-breaker.
For the S2 RD, I trade into three 1’s & chose Tate, Lemon, & Sadiq, then added Stowers & Emmett Johnson in R2, as well as Brazzell & Allar in R3.
Multiple deals before & after the actual draft ensued, & draft night in PGH was a blast to watch.
*I had picked up Stribling after our draft, & watched him go to SF to open D2.
#BD2TM Concept League:
The story of this league, a ‘26 start-up, has been shared a lot, a group of ‘Dynasty Vets’ (some just a year or two in) mixed w Dynasty Rookies who the Vets are coaching!
Start-up Draft complete.
Held Free Agency while we ensure that each rookie understands Waivers. Waivers will go off at 6am Saturday.
The Varsity:
A new Dynasty start-up for ‘26 filled w more experienced players including Mike & Elliott – the draft will begin soon, but ‘selection trades’ were kicked off with a doozy between Mike & I.
I wanted out of 1.02 & will now take a more balanced approach than is dictated by an early selection in a start-up.
And we decided to put together a ‘GGS Old School Redraft’ complete w K’s & team D’s.
This is FUN league w a mix of old & new FFBall friends including Mike, StartSit, MY WIFE, & my buddy Juan from work.
I drew 1.01 in this snake & chose ‘The Bijan Impact’ strategy… surround Bijan w the best supporting cast possible.
We’ll dig into other leagues in subsequent articles, & will begin a weekly video blog chronicling this effort soon.
